Green Screen

I just wanted to share an interesting idea I had for our Milestone 0 group photo. Essentially, we all set our virtual backgrounds in Microsoft Teams to the same coloured background, in this case, green. From there, once we had the screenshot, I was able to take it into a photo editing program, remove the green background, rearrange the video tiles, and add an appropriately-themed background.

Brass Wind Turbine Blade

For the simulations during today's Design Studio, we were instructed to use brass as the test material. Of course, I understand that is was only for the sake of learning how to use the simulation tools, but I still found it humorous just because of its impracticality as an actual turbine blade material. I had also been playing around with renders in SolidWorks Visualize, which resulted in the render you see below. I also posted it to Reddit, although someone thought is was a French fry, so it looks like I still need to practice.
